Art Day 11/21/2009

The Art Museum of Idaho was having a family art day (which I guess they have every once in awhile) We had never been there so we decided to go check it out.

We browsed the Russian Art that was on display and then they had a kids project FREE of charge in the back.

We headed back there and painted some master pieces!

It was a fun activity to get out and do something a little different, and something free.

We had fun :)

Here are our pictures. I love art, so I was happy when  the women there said it wasn't just for kids, so I sat down and painted with the kids too...it was fun :)

Here we are with our finished paintings! What a fun little activity, we'll have to go back again for sure.

It has been quite awhile since I have had updated pictures of my kids taken (bad me) My sister-in-law came up to Idaho and we finally got the pictures done!

They turned out so cute, if you want to see a bunch of them click here.  No need for me to post them, since she already did the work :)

If you are located in the Salt Lake City area you should look her up to do your next pictures!

This weekend I went down to Utah and spent some much needed time with my family.

I am so incredibly thankful for my family. I feel like I learned a lot about life this weekend.

We started taking some seriously goofy pictures.

We laughed and laughed...

I was laughing so hard, it was a laugh till your stomach hurts laugh ♥

I am thankful that we can have so much fun.

I love you guys :)

I'll post more pictures from our little get away later this week!

It's been the season where Pumpkin cookies are all around. I love them.  I had made some a few weeks ago, bagged them up and set them on the counter. I'd sneak some cookies here and there. But this one day, I was walking past my office and saw a "pumpkin cookie" in a bag. I thought to myself "I totally thought those were gone" ...so I excitedly walked over to indulge in one last cookie. I picked up the bag, and threw it down...

...It's that freaking frog!!!

Thank you to uncle Treygon who brought home this lovely coin purse from the Phillipines. It was given as a gift several months ago to Asher. He stores his money in it, and the frog coin bag lives in a plastic bag for some reason.

I haven't picked up this "Pumpkin Frogookie" bag just once...No...a few times.

"Oh look, a pumpkin cookie!"

And then fooled again.

I finally had to take this lovely coin purse and hide it Ashers room. I'm sick of thinking I'm finding some yummy Pumpkin cookies and then finding this.

A good weight loss tool...maybe!

On the other hand, you gotta appreciate that people in Philippines can be so resourceful...this is a REAL frog with googly eyes. With a nice little zipper on the back.

It's definitely a very unique coin purse!
